| no partners | | I saw a couple of triplogs recently that highlighted the fall foliage in See Canyon right now, and the reports were right on target! This is perhaps the best fall foliage that I have seen in Arizona, at least in terms of maples.
I started from the See Canyon TH and went up to See Spring. Then I went back down to the See Canyon Trail and headed up toward the Rim. I intended to go to the Rim Road, but I was taking so many pictures that I ran out time to go all the way to the rim road. I got almost up there, but time was getting away from me so I decided to head back down once I got up to about 7,750 feet. The fall foliage colors were gone by then anyway.
The fall foliage was great. I really enjoyed the colors on the See Spring Trail, but once I got back on the See Canyon Trail the foliage was amazing up to about 7,500 feet.
This was another amAZing Arizona hike! |

Autumn Foliage Observation Extreme To say that the foliage today is "extreme" is an extreme understatement. The amount and diversity of colors -- red, orange, yellow, and pink -- was amAZing! |
