| no partners | | It was a nice cool day, and Humboldt Mtn has been on my radar screen for a while so I decided to go hike it.
I decided to park well below the summit, and make a legitimate hike out of it.
The hike was on a paved road all the way. On the descent my feet were hurting a bit and I was wishing that I had driven up a bit further.
The lookout tower at the summit was fenced in, so I did not climb it. Views at the top were nice, and I did not realize that Bartlett Reservoir was so close.
This was a nice hike on a cool day, but I doubt if I will do this one again. There is lots of sun exposure, and this one would not be fun on a hot day. |

Wildflowers Observation Light
There were a few yellow wildflowers along the way, but they were past their prime. |
