| no partners | | We thought we would do the first section of this hike, it has great views, there is never anyone on it, and it is near by.
We decided to hike to the GI Joe overlook (someone placed a GI Joe on one of the rocks) to see if he was still there.
Trail was a bit overgrown with all the rain we received this late summer. We did locate GI Joe, he took a tumble off the rock he was on, so we built up his Cairn, and set him up.
We also decided to re-enforce and add more cairns on this segment (from start to GI Joe overlook). Should be easier to follow now. The goldfields have some really nice short hikes to what I think are the best views in the area all under 4 miles(there and back):
1. Sunset Arch (There and back)
2. Little 4 Peaks (Just to peaks and back)
3. Consensus Loop (To GI Joe overlook and back)
