Took a hike up the Tom's Thumb Trail to the saddle where it intersects with the East End Trail and turned around. A nice exercise hike on a beautiful day. I've hiked this trail many times over the last 12 years and still enjoy the views north to the desert foothills and the Mazatzal Mountains and of course the dramatic granite rock formations of the McDowells.
