Lots of grass since the rains - really impressive ORANGE poppies at and above the vulture view point along edge of trail. Large clusters gorgeous orange bursts. Several other flowers in smaller clusters - senna yellow and purple / white . Was in high 70’s when gate opened. At 7:00 am was in high 90’s and direct sun. Makes me sad to see dogs starting on trail at this hour and heat and sun. And owners have very little water for themselves. Today I went to East End and back down.
