Took a morning hike in my desert backyard at the north end of N 56th St, Phoenix. I brought my super zoom camera just in case there were some critters of interest. Got a couple of nice bird photos. Hiked through the desert out to where N. 56th St will intersect with Pinnacle Peak Road when that section of 56th is completed probably within a few weeks. Made a loop hike out of it taking a section of the "The Other Maricopa Trail" [ photoset ] from it's north end to E. Ranger Rd then following Ranger back to the desert and then home. Nice to get out of the condo and do some neighborhood hikes now that the temps are more reasonable.
