Hadn't done this hike for a while, and we had some friends in town looking for a reasonable hike. Typically we would avoid this hike on the weekend, but figured if we started at the break of dawn, we would avoid folks for at lease 1/2 of the hike.

Well, the water was quite low in Bartlett (50-70 feet below the high line?). Still the hike was nice, and surprisingly, we didn't run into anyone for most of the hike. I assume this is because the dock was closed, and so most folks went somewhere else.

We picked up quite a lot of trash in the last 1/2 mile of the hike. People just go out there with their 6pack and get drunk and leave bottles. I guess the world is their trash can.
