I decided to do another hike close to home before hiking in the Mazzies tomorrow.

From the Adero Canyon TH, I went up to Sunrise Peak, and on the way back looped around up to Peak 3098, aka the West View Overlook.

It was cloudy until I started descending from Sunrise Peak, and even then the sun was filtered most of the rest of the hike.

Wildflowers were scarce until I started descending on the north side of Peak 3098, where the wildflowers were still rather abundant.

Wildflowers Observation Light
Flowers are still putting on a good show on the north side of Peak 3098; otherwise they were isolated, with ocotillo standing out from the rest.
