| no partners | | Not too hot yet but will be soon for this area. Some checking on a spring area and some mining regions and some neat rock formations nearby. A bird nest in a rocky cleft, couldn't really see the little one but cried quite loudly as I went by. Another nest in a sycamore tree and I was called out by a pair of I think falcons', not sure on that.
Down the wash, the spring tank and windmill defunct. The Samaritans or the cartel helpers left supplies and the area was quite a mess.
Out of the wash on a network of old trails and roads. The interesting rock ridgeline is attractive to miners and this no exception. A sizable shaft, thrown rock had some hangtime, and a collapsed adit that I looked at but decided not to try, a stomach or flat of the back entry and looked like a snake pit. Nice ore rock in the area.
catclaw bashing to get back to the Jeep. Some sort of drivetrain noise coming out of it I'll have to look into. Always somethin'. |
