| partners | | After coffee and breakfast at Camp Grasshopper, Kelly and I drove a couple miles to go hike the Barbershop trail. Temperature in the low 60's felt so nice.
Soon Kelly spotted a bear not far off the trail. It took off uphill before I got a chance to see it. All I saw was the bushes moving and heard some crashing through the forest.
The hike has a lot of ups and downs in short spurts. Plenty of flowers with butterflies on them and waist high ferns dotted the trail.
The cabins and dam at the end of the trail were interesting. We returned the way we came with a little extra credit to finish the whole Barbershop trail.
We returned to camp to a wonderful breakfast compliments of Grasshopper (Hank). Of course I had three servings. Yum.
Great to finally meet Hank and hang out at Camp Grasshopper. Thanks Hank! |
