Decided on some cooler weather hiking yesterday so headed up to the Mogollon Rim to hike the Barbershop Trail. I've hiked Barbershop numerous times and it's all in great shape and yesterday was no exception. Headed down into Barbershop Canyon, back up the ridge and back down into Dane Canyon. As I got to Dane Canyon, I changed plans and hiked a bit down canyon. Pretty easy hike through the canyon as there are plenty of game trails. Did not see any Elk but plenty of signs with tons of scat and prints everywhere. No one else on the trail but definately some people up on the rim camping. Traffic was a bit heavy on the way home but not horrible. A beautiful 56 degrees at the start, warming to 64 when I was done with some nice breezes, just what I needed.
