If you can avoid the thunderstorms, this area is beautiful this time of year. Started from the west trailhead about 7am. There was dew covering everything and giving the area this perfectly sweet cinnamon smell. Well worth getting up in the early hours to experience this trail at sunrise. Couldn't quite finish as the fair weather cumulus were turning less than fair, so I decided to book it back to the truck.
