When the right-of-way begins to turn north onto private property, the route returned to Javelina Trail #332 which passes the fireplace near the south fork of Willow Creek and the junction of Willow Creek Trail #704 and Firewater Trail #325 on the other side of the creek. The route continues along Javelina Trail as it follows the creek upstream and a little past the creek crossing. On April 8, 2023 the creek had the most water I've ever seen, but still easy to cross (see photos). The route returns on Javelina Trail to the parking lot for nearly 6 miles total. The last 2 miles, while not strenuous, are continuously uphill. |
