| partners | | On our way from Las Vegas to Zion we stopped off in Valley of Fire for a little more hiking. In the morning we hiked the Fire Wave and then the White Dome loop. We arrived early and went straight to the Fire wave Trail, we heard this hike fills up fast and to get parking arrive early. These are easy hikes, more like a stroll. We continued on the Fire Wave to White Dome so we wouldn't have to drive over to the White Dome parking area.
Fire Wave was neat but I think the walk through the slot canyons was the highlight. Lots of people encountered along the trail. Trail signs are a bit confusing and the park trail map wasn't much help. most guidance was from others on the trail. This is a must do hike but don't expect a workout other than your photo finger clicking pictures. Arrived back at the trail head around noon to a zoo of people trying to find parking. We will head over to Elephant Rock before heading to St George, Utah |
