After five hours of snowshoeing on the rim, we decided to pitstop at Saguaro Lake for a sunset paddle. With the lower Salt recreation areas closed due to high releases from the reservoirs, Saguaro and Canyon are getting a lot of overflow visitation. The marina was at capacity turning people away all day, and apparently there was a long line to enjoy BJ. Fortunately, when we came we were able to slip right into an open spot.

We explored upstream a bit before turning back to enjoy the views as the setting sun put on a light display in the western sky.

I still haven't skied and golfed on the same day, but snowshoeing and paddleboarding is an honorable mention. Arizona is a good place to accomplish these contrasting goals.
