The actual trail name is Tin Cup Creek Trail #96, and it’s a pretty good one. In fact, at the time of our hike, the trail can still boast not traveling through any major forest fire scars or major tree kill offs; a rarity in the Bitterroots. The portion of trail we hiked was in excellent shape and amounted to a pleasant walk through the forest, highlighted by a sprinkling of wildflowers and a generally healthy forest. The first ford can be a little tricky early in the season, but I think we would have been fine had we needed to cross. |
