| no partners | | | Dot and I took a boat ride across Redfish Lake and then hiked to a nice little waterfall before catching a return boat home. You can rent boats at Redfish Lodge or pay for the boat shuttle, which takes you to the other side of the lake and a forest service campground only accessible by trail or boat. From the campground a series of trails take one to locations close to the campground and popular Saw Tooth backcountry destinations like Alpine Lake. We opted for the short hike to Lilly Lake, which lives up to its name and then the falls. |
