We did not make it to Sheephead Creek on this hike, but we did enjoy yet another nice morning stroll on quality trail in a remote area. Some deadfall as one might expect, but nothing overly impeding. It does seem like this trail gets semi regular maintenance, formally or informally and I suspect by late or mid summer trail conditions may get better, as far as deadfall goes. Good tread overall and a pleasant stroll along the creek. The first ford is known to be tricky early in the season, but no issues for me, or Dot. |
