There were not a lot of places to hike in Monument Valley but there was one Trail to Sand Spring you are allowed to hike. Gypsum Creek had a real light flow. Lots of people in the park as would be expected. Good place to visit but way too controlled. They conveniently close the park road to vehicles during sunrise and sunset unless you purchase a guided tour. I was told to go to Valley of the Gods in Utah if you want more freedom to hike where you want. We headed there the next day.
