Short hike today along a portion of then Arizona Trail, Las Cienegas. We hiked the 2.5 miles to the south of the freeway. Not a very interesting trail until you get to the Interstate. Crossing through the long tunnel is about as exciting as it gets. This trail was laid out for mountain bikers so expect long switchbacks where a straight to approach would of worked fine. The trail is in excellent condition with a few sections of loose rolly rocks. Clear sky's and cool weather made this a pleasant hike.

Before heading home we drove out to visit the old Titan II Missile silo. Not much left but a few cement structures and the metal cover for the silo. If anything gets left out in the desert it ends up getting tagged or shot full of holes, this is no exception.
