Good workout to burn off some calories. Got started before 0800. The road from 2.50-5.00 miles is kind of rough, but still decent hiking. It obviously rained last night, which softened the ground a bit. Saw a handful of hikers above the junction with the main road. Some snow/graupel on the ground for the upper half mile or so. Chatted with two guys working at the top, according to them it was 35 degrees. Wandered around a little on the way back down. Saw one deer. Cool temps with a nice breeze most of the way. The final two miles felt warm, but it was 55 when I finished.
