Got started at 0800. Headed up Bursera and took that west. Noticed some of the rock “pavers” that used to be on the trail are now gone. Some loose dirt where those used to be, but once that gets packed down, it’ll be an improvement.

East on National. Side trip to Goat Hill. Started getting warm by that point. Easy hike down Pyramid. Could smell some javelinas in the wash, but couldn’t see or hear them. Been a while since I’ve done the full loop.

When I finished, I noticed the same vehicle I’d parked next to in the morning was still there. Kind of unusual to see the same vehicle at both the start and finish of a 10 mile hike here, especially since I did not see many hikers on the trails this morning.
