Jill requested Quartz Peak for today. We got started on the trail around 0900. Noticed a few new spots of erosion on the way up, but nothing terrible. Took a nice break at the top. Jill decided this is her second favorite hike so far. The hike down always seems to take a while due to the loose rocks on the trail. Nice day, with a light breeze most of the time. Saw three other hikers. Other than hearing some coyotes in the distance, no wildlife, not even any bighorn evidence.
