Rained out. 75 degrees at 5 PM. Collected acorns. Plan was to camp out and then hit the trail well before sunrise but the rain started about 930 PM and rained all night. Light then sometimes moderate rain. Heard an owl before the rain started. No stars due to clouds. 66 degrees by morning. Probably about 1/2 inch overnight. I broke camp at 7:30 AM due to constant rain and headed down the hill and hiked along Sycamore Creek instead. (Cross F TH area) The lower elevation I went the lighter the rain. Saw 3 hawks? They called like hawks but where black, white.
