I skipped hiking a week to do some work so I needed to get a hike in before the AZT the following week. I had not hiked Boulder creek for a while so I gave it shot. Second Water is in the same shape as always. Easy going to Garden valley then a bit rocky down to Second Water Canyon before leveling off to Boulder Canyon. Boulder Canyon trail was narrow but easy to follow this time and there were a few campers along the way. The creek crossings were easy and there was a good amount of water. The Dutchman trail gets the most traffic so always good to go. The weather was great and it never really warmed up. There were several people out but it didn't seem crowded at any time. A good led stretcher to keep in shape.
