With the cooling weather I slept in a little and headed out to Haunted Canyon. I started after 7:30 and the temperature was in the low 50's. There was only one other car at the upper trailhead. I thought I would see that person but never did run in to them. The trail is good but the grass is high. The water was flowing from the spring in Haunted Canyon so the creek was running. The poison ivy is doing well but I had long sleeves and pants so I've never had an issue. I stopped at the Perez cabin and the Toney and was cold when I stopped for a snack. I saw two hikers coming in on my way out but that was all. When I got back to the parking area there were 3 Subarus parked in addition to my vehicle. With the clouds and the breeze it was nice the entire hike.
