| no partners | | This was a high elevation Catalina peak hike that included a total of 6 high points. Tim T. joined me on this adventure. I split this up into 4 triplogs because that's what made the most sense. All stats have been entered on the triplog for Peak 7781.
Lemmon Rock Lookout

I've been to this point of interest several times in the past but decided to go there today because Tim hadn't been here yet. There are some great views of the city from this point.
The Ravens

This was the first time I went to this high point. "The Ravens" is a popular climbing area, but it's possible to hike to the high point without much climbing experience. There's probably one class 3 move to get to the high point. Everything else is basically class 2 or under. When standing at the top we looked at all of the rocks around us and we were pretty confident that we were at the high point. Tim had been here before a year earlier, but today was my first time to this high point.
I believe the Ravens is closed between January and June because this is a very popular place for bird nesting.

After summiting 5 peaks for the day, we were a bit tired. We noticed that the Radio Ridge high point was only a few hundred feet from the "equipment parking lot" where we parked. Tim hadn't been there yet but I was there a few years back. We decided to go there and make it 6 peaks for the day since it was quite easy. There was a stump right near the high point where we got a few photos. We happened to notice that someone had a tent pitched up very close to this high point.
After bagging this final peak of the day, we decided to head back to Tucson before dark (for a change!)
