It was a slow afternoon at work, so I took off early and headed to SoMo to test out my ankle and see if I'd be able to go for a longer hike this weekend...I'd had some Achilles pain for over a week that was bothering me at the end of a hike last weekend. Perfect weather and beautiful day--one of the least hazy days I've seen in a while--and there were quite a few people out on the trails enjoying it. Great day to be outside, but the ankle didn't respond well to even the short hike...so less hiking and more stretching/rest in my near future.
