I got a new tripod this week with a ballhead and a separate panning function, which allows me to shoot panoramas, so I decided to go test it from a spot with some nice panoramic views. Joe's Canyon Lake Massif seemed perfect for this, so I hauled up there with the tripod and my 70-200 lens. Great hike! Nice views, it's unnerving getting close to the edge of that cliff. Had a heck of a time leveling the tripod and such for the panorama, but I got it done and it turned out pretty well I think.
