After thinking I wouldn't be able to paddle this weekend, Gary and I somewhat spontaneously made it out to Canyon Lake to paddle. It was a beautiful morning and we were able to find relative peace and quiet in some of the tributaries. Good escape after working too much. Next time we'll go up the Salt quite a bit more.
