| partners | | Went into N. Fork of Deadman Canyon with Mike and Ryan. Looking to camp below the big 250 foor falls, but a 75 foot fall kept us from getting up there. The 75 footer was still pretty cool though, and I loved North Fork of Deadman Canyon. Found a cool spot where all 3 of us could hang our hammocks, no good spots for tents though.
In the morning we backtracked to the canyon we took to get to Deadman, and then we took a sidetrip to a cool spot a bit downstream from the sidecanyon. We got back up to the Divide trail and we dropped our packs and took another sidetrip to the top of the big falls so we could look down. Quite the drop. Thats a deep, cool canyon!
Then back to Barnhardt trailhead to head home. Fun trip. First backpack in the mazatzals. |
