Going to mention Agate Bridge in this same write-up. It is not in HAZ, but it is another site along the way where no hiking was involved. The “bridge” is of a petrified log that has fallen across a wash. Impressive. Would have been more impressive to have seen it before the park service reinforced the “bridge” with a cement foundation. I was worried on the drive to it that the “bridge” might be a fleeting feature and not be there in a few years. No worries, the bridge isn’t going anywhere. |
