Belated post. Looking for a short hike before my big hike on Saturday. Got to the TH around 6am. Did what amounted to a loop going CCW. Used the parking spots right at the gate entry. Started on the Quartz, did the spur up to Watson Overlook and then continued on the Connector to get back to the parking area. Weather was nice. No wildlife. Surprised to encounter 9 hikers in doing this short loop.
