Early morning hike at SoMo. Started from the Chandler TH near 19th Ave a little before 6am. Basically did the Prospector Loop. Up Lost Ranch Mine. A visit to “Goat Hill II”. And then down Lost Mine. Nice loop. Able to avoid the sun on the climb and was in the mountain shadows for most of the descent. I’ve done this loop a handful of times over the last several months. Keep seeing the same two guys out there. One is an old timer with hiking poles that moves at a very deliberate pace. Seems like the trail might be too much for him, but he is out there every time I’m there.

The other guy is a lot more able and focused. Finally got a hello out of him as we passed.
