| partners | | With Sun_Hiker this was our first time at these ruins and they are spectacular. Clearly better than Cooper forks and right up there with the big guys (Pueblo and Devil's). A well preserved three story apartment you could live in today. We had a special visitor in the back room of the third level waiting to welcome us.
A special thanks to Randy for the excellent write-up and accurate GPS track. I popped a tire on the way in a short distance past the Devil's Chasm drainage. The roads were in good shape though compared to our other trips there. If it were not for the tire we would have had about 2 hours of time to wander around up there. But we did not want to risk dark if another tire blew. |
