Sun_Hiker and I did this one after driving from Phoenix. Starting at noon the short 4 mile roundtrip hike to the Colorado River took only 3 hours and that includes about an hour for photos and lunch at the river. We then added a couple of forays up canyons in the Vermillion Cliffs area of which the right fork (see the map) is most promising and we will pursue that further next time.

This is a great short hike to do after the long drive to Lees Ferry. Good to do at this time of year because it will get hot there pretty soon.
