I made a first trip out to this area a couple of weekends ago and decided it was worth a trip back with Katie. The gate squeeze was a little tighter for the pups since our last trip, as the chain had been wrapped an additional time around the gate this time, but we still managed to get Blanco in, however, barely. The road walk was nice and the temps were perfect. A lot of cows.

We visited one of the popular glyph sites, a little lookout type ruin with glyphs and the main pueblo. The glphys were great and I saw more this time around with Katie's better eyes. The pueblo exceeded both of our expectations and we were impressed at the number of partial walls and room outlines. It really helped the imagination in attempting to picture what it may have looked like centuries ago.
