Still way too hot for the long Sups hike. Turned back at windmill.
Saw nice Diamondback on the way. It was kind enough to warn me at 30' or so. After this it just coiled under small bush and quit paying any attention to me

In a lot of cultures Bluebird suppose to bring luck and happiness. My camera stopped working right after I snapped picture of it, also I ripped my pants and back to the parking lot, had to replace flat tire on my car. In all other respects it was great hike :):)

Had this one on my list for a long time. Finally we made it happened this Memorial day weekend. Flew to Page (nice to have friend with the plane)on fri night, did cardiac and X on sat and just relaxed by the lake on sunday

Camping at Fossil Springs:
Scenery is one of the best you will ever find, mosquitoes are vicious :)
Water is warm, but temperature at night still drops to mid 40 or so

did some hiking on Hermit trail before it closes for car traffic and crowds are back.

S Kaibab- Bright Angel loop. It took just under 10 hours. I am alive (barely). Parked around BA Lodge and took 7am shuttle to S Kaibab trail-head. Around 11 got to Bright Angel Campground and then up. Rested at Indian Gardens for 30 min. Rest of the way had to go very slow with a lot of breaks due to cramping (quad on right leg, never had it before). Otherwise, physically felt ok, actually used breaks to sit and enjoy scenery :).
