Saturday afternoon I got my new camera in the mail and my ankle was feeling good enough to do at least some walking. I decided Sat. nite to go out with the kids in the afternoon over by Usery Park. I invited our neighbors to tag along and they said yes.
We started from the south end off of McKellips Road. We took the Levee Trail over to the Noso Trail. On our way up the Noso Trail, Dmitri said he had to go "ca-ca". That wasn't going to work along the trail, so now we had a mission to make it to the lower trailhead and horse staging area, where they thankfully had some porta-potties. We took a break there, and then made our way back along the Blevins and Crismon Wash Trails. Got alot of nice pics with the new camera and 10x optical zoom. I'm very much looking forward to taking some nice pictures with this camera during my hikes for the next few years. |
