After a quick lunch break following our Isabella hike we headed up Union. This turned out to be much better than I anticipated. Great views and more tree coverage than I expected. The lookout tower attendant yelled out the window to let us know there was a great lookout deck over yonder. We took the que "don't come up the tower" and headed over to the deck. The views are nice. Wonder why they built the deck though, maybe a heli pad?

Heading down I kept a close eye on Bruce to be sure he didn't try and show me any more secret sides of the mountain

Thanks for a great day Bruce. It was nice to knock out two more hikes I've never done. Both are very worthy IMO too!
