Denny and I debated on skydiving or hiking today. We settled on this hike with winds that could blow a small child off the mountain. On the way up we witnessed the coolest squirrel lathing a pine cone. Underneath his perch was a good fifty pounds of pine chips!

Finally met Elizabeth and it'd been so long since I'd seen George that I didn't recognize him :oops:

What started out as a layered hike ended up a tad toasty. We witnessed the birth of the Eagle Fire

Thanks for the great company Denny. As for the hike... I'm no skydiver
