This was an Arizona Outdoor Travel Club hike. Bev led a great group of 14 hikers. This is one of her favorite hikes and I see why. I'm glad I hiked both of the major routes to the Ruins. The weather was awesome. Lots of hikers and campers out today. Everything is tinder dry. Today was the 102nd day without rain, setting a new record, so no visible water on the hike. The climb from the Woodbury TH to Tortilla Pass is a strenuous way to start the hike & the day. But the day, the hike, the AOTC friends and the Ruins makes it all worthwhile.
