| no partners | | Got a cheap Canon A2300 a week ago as the lens on my G10 has been scratched for years. It was tiny and fair for documenting. However the general photos were blah. It didn't take any better macros than my scratched G10. Most annoying was that it was difficult to half click to hold an exposure then shift view.
Long ago when digital cameras first came out 2 of my first 3 were Sony and seemed advanced for the time. So I traded it in for a Sony WX50. Once again this was among the cheapest. It has a better Carl Zeiss lens than the newer WX models with more features, Sony lens and higher price.
It's way better than the A2300. Guess I'm too picky though as it falls short of my expectations.
It has an HDR mode which seems cool and looks good on camera. I should have known this wasn't going to spit out miracles though... on the computer the horizon and edges have the horrid photoshop look.
Handheld low-light is good but nothing like the G10 on tripod.
I'll play with it some more before reverting back to the scratched lead paper weight...lol |
