Made another trip up the Peralta Trail to Fremont Saddle and on out to the Pinon Overlook. I got an earlier start than on Saturday in hopes of catching the mountains from a higher altitude as the sun began to sweep over the canyon.

I had to use my flash light on the first part of the hike, but soon my vision acclimated to the dim light and I was able to see pretty good. The entire trail takes on a whole different perspective in that early light and there aren't hoards of hikers to contend with, so it's really refreshing.

I may have to do this again and start out earlier yet in hopes of making it to the Saddle before the sun breaks over the Eastern Superstitions.

And...........yep, the bench is still there under the Pinon Tree

On every trip into the Superstitions, I find another Gold Mine. Today the mine was filled with Memories. I can not wait for the next trip.
