Another great day on the Peralta Trail to Fremont Saddle. Got an early start to see if I could catch the sunrise on the Needle, but I missed the magical moment by mere minutes :? Guess I still have to get up earlier and travel in the dark :scared:

Met up with Pam and Van on the Saddle and we had a good time viewing the Needle and talking to a hiker who spent a great night on the Saddle with his dog. There was an interesting cloud layer down in the canyons in the direction of Miner's Needle, I want to think it was mist, but it was probably haze from Phoenix.

We only met a few other hikers on the trail, which was a real treat after the crowds I encountered an previous trips. Once back at the red truck, I broke out the bag of cookies and Van and I washed em down with a cold beer :y:

On every trip into the Superstitions, I find another Gold Mine. Today the mine was filled with Memories. I can not wait for the next trip.
