Luckily I found a room! I wanted to stay there because I like one of the restaurants (Carmelita's), plus I wanted to check out two more. Had dinner at Carmelita's as usual, but stopped in at Carlee's Place to have a beer and check it out. It was full of folks enjoying what looked to be generous portions of good food (next time I'll eat there). I really like the vibe in that town. 
It stayed windy most of the night, so I'm glad I wasn't camping. After breakfast at Kendall's (very good), it was off to Blair Valley and points south and east for a full day of exploring before heading home.
