My 2nd trip up the GC Battleship.

Meet my Kingman buddy Todd at Williams. We then we met up with 9L at the BA Trailhead and quickly made our way DOWN to the switchback directly after the 1.5 mile house. From there we started to look for the horizontal route I had previously taken.

For some odd reason, John and Todd decided to challenge their cardio and climb back up to the base of the Coconino, traversing across from there instead of following the much wiser Squatpuke, who eventually found the correct route along the top of the Hermit.

We all met at the saddle, Todd tended to a blister then we were off for the base of the Battleship.

The climb up the "Ducks Butt" seemed much easier this time around.

Great views from up top. Weather was perfect - slight wind, but cool temps.
