Fun trip with a solid group of hikers. Camped at Catalina State Park the night before. Had a good time catching up with hiking buddies. Saturday, we made it to camp in time for a siesta, and then headed up to the pass to catch some golden afternoon light followed by a lovely sunset as we hightailed it back to camp for dinner. There was plenty of water in the stream. Temps were a little toasty. The pools were busy both days. Poison ivy seems to be spreading out more at Old Trail Camp. Still love this hike.
