With Matt Bond, Andy Lee, Jan van der Meer (business visitor from the Netherlands) and "desert puppy" Skippy. Unbelievable that the high temperature on Mt Graham was only 71degreesF! Leaving the 115degreeF heat behind felt fantastic. We even got rained on making our Dutch visitor feel at home...
The hike down to the falls passes shows evidence of past logging operations. Slick rock area had a plethora of lizards all making jestures that we were trespassing on their territory.
We were quite surprised to be the only hikers on the trail today. Great place. We will be back soon for an overnight camp. Webb Peak may be a likely future hike...
My GPS logged over 413 miles today. That's quite a few miles for a Sunday hike... |
