found myself on sunrise peak
no one else around
had a couple things in mind today, but had to wait for weather to cooperate
don't mind getting caught in rain, but really don't enjoy going out in it
started clearing up this afternoon, so i drove up toward the mcdowells
decided on sunrise, then went all in on the over and back
my truck was the only vehicle in the parking lot when i started, and i saw three people on the east side
crystal clear views of the superstitions and low clouds on the mazatzals
humid, but much of the east side was shaded
hit the peak on the way over
could see clouds building toward the southwest on the way back
ended up being a good choice for the day |
